Some ideas on where to do purchases for Carpet Remnants?
I’m looked for two (2) space size carpet remnants to utilize as area mats in my Existence Room and Dining Space(s). I’ve wood floors however haven’t finished their restoration, and for the winter months, I’d like to have the rugs/carpets down to defend the timber floors and add a little warmth below foot for period of the colder months. I’ve seen a little carpets and area mats at seats like Lowes or Home Depot, but, I know there’s got to be another places to do purchases that I’m not thinking of.
Your useful answers/ideas/advice will be sincerely appreciating! Thanks!

Any carpet store should have some left over from a job. Check the yellow pages. Sometimes they will want to charge you full price, though. So be careful.

Any and all carpet stores sell carpet remnants.
Just go in and ask, then usually have a separate bin for them.
We recently needed an 8×8 carpet for a cabin on the river, and when we asked they told us they had some big remnants in the dumpster, We got two great carpets and for free.
I would ask first if it is okay to “dumpster dive”.

All carpet stores should have ends and remnants. You can even have them cut the rug to your size and bind the edges for a price. Makes a nice alternative to wall to wall carpet.
